Best of Murray (Tennis)

Recommended Posts

For those who might be interested & didn't see all the game...This is a (3 minute BBC video link) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/61959771

Headed "Best of Murray" highlighting some of his best shots in yesterday's game (It also has some additional text which might be worth a read) And there is link also to the young lassie Emma, who also got through the first round. Neither may go any further after getting through their first round. But I think everyone admires a "Fighter"...

Especially, if like Andy Murray, he been through the Wars...Refuses to Acept Defeat...Getting on a bit...And fae Scotland:chaplin:

Do Check Out This   (from yesterday)...

"Times reporter Stuart Fraser has quoted American John Isner - who the Scot is due to face in the second round at SW19 - on Twitter as saying: "I was watching him a little bit on the TV in the locker room, packed house all cheering for him, one of their best players ever, England's best players ever."

I'll bet that, fair cheered up "Oor Andy" :explode:

(And thank Mary & dblair for response)

No need for thanks G. Like reading your views on Murray. I have to admit when he was younger he used to annoy me with his temperament and it seemed like it would be his downfall. I have grown to respect him though and understand his personality a bit more.

Have you seen the documentary about his hip problems. Fairly sure it was called resurfaced or something alike.

Watching his game again tonight (2 sets down)... But although it may not seem so with the scoreline, he is again once more given his all, against the 6ft 10 inch opponent Isner. TBH, I do not (did not) expect him to win tonight. But he'll always earn my respect for what he is; A man that will always give his all & doesn't know the meaning of defeat.

Never did see that documentary. Watched a few bits & pieces of it & then decided,

I savour at a later date, when I have more time to watch it properly. Then never did.
