I volunteered and did this when the club was fan owned but think our owners should be spending their own money and employing people to do these jobs.

Once again zero engagement with fans until they want something. First the annual 'new stadium' diatribe at season ticket sales time now they want us to take the bird shit off our own seats.

We're fans who love the club not mugs who'll do whatever its custodians think we're gullible enough to do for them.

Admittedly I know f23K all about the rental situation, but  as I see it this should be the provence of the owners, if they won't do anything and the situation is desperate we should all pull together to get the stadium in a better shape.

I think our arrangement takes into account that we, the tenant, are responsible for such maintenance items.

Being week days a lot of folk will be working. I think in the past someone from the club, normally JT, would open up at the weekend to let us in. Done plenty of weeding, painting, seat cleaning etc in the past but can't manage through the week.

Remember guys on here not that long ago asking why club wasn’t asking fans to help tidy up the stadium pre season, reasons trotted out why club couldn’t maybe do it was health and safety, insurance etc….

Now club does do it, and some have a pop…

If it got one guy/girl out the house for a day that helped with their mental health, then it would be worth it.

Can’t win eh?
