Gary Bowers, or in Abbreviated Form "G B" ... (Question?)

Recommended Posts

I'm guilty (like most on here) to be using GB when referring to "Gary Bowyers" in posts

And to be honest, these "initials" are getting to me (Although I am not too sure why) :chin:

With this in mind I wonder if he would consider changing his name while he is here to...

"Stewart Neil Patterson" This has a better ring to it and I could cope easily with that :happyyes:

GB or SNP? think I know whit ain eh prefer ;)

And I am seek o' hearing aboot Team GB:chaplin:

My sister is renting a house in the Ferry this week to keep an eye on Mum, who is unwell. She was asked by owners if she would let a prospective renter have a look. Gary Bowyer turned up!

Only renting?! Sack him now! Tell him to get it bought.

(Just a general comment)..."Thank all for your responses"

Although, most of you on here will have picked up on the fact that I have very strong (long-held) political views...Actually from since long before pre-teens (nearly 70 years ago) & based mainly on my love of Scotland, it's history & it's people, I really have no ill feeling towards others, wherever they are born, or live, or even their politics or religion, sex or gender preferences. It's easier for me and I hope others for me to take the view "live & let live"... Although that may not include those, who hold extreme, over-opionated (right or left views) that leave no room at all, to consider others viewpoint.

The Topic/Comment above, could have been "slightly political" so I can easily take the "gentle point" made by Ludo. And at the same time, respect & apologise if it has offended others. I can't honestly say, at all times, I am glad there is no political posts allowed on the forum (I'm human, & like others I do at times get frustrated with the news & politics that affect all of us...whether it be Scotland or in the other countries, that make up the United Kingdom...

But I also know (well proved from past experience) that bringing "real politics" & commenting on "controversial" current news and political issues into a forum is a bad, damaging road to take. What starts off as a reasoned point of vew can quickly turn into, a very heavy, sour, & even dangerous dialogue, which on personal terms, maybe even mean, losing good friends. And on more important general terms, wreck a Great Forum, that's taken Admin John (& others) many years of time, money, sometimes painful effort to establish & make it what it is today...

And certainly a Forum, that's a real god-send & life-saver for "the auld man" on less good days.

So in conclusion; Thank you all for taking the Topic (with a hint of light politics) not too serious.

It really was no more than an effort of bit fun, that even the Great Gary Bowyers  "GB" wid never,

be offended by it. If he is I again apologise

GB & BB & DFC, Keep Up the Good Work:chaplin:
