Just found this on You Tube, some very entertaining highlights, the Partick OG is a classic and some of the the goalkeeping is comical. Always looking out for some lower league player we may be interested in, the guy at Clyde took his goals really well.

Enjoyed watching that. Surprised to see Airdrie playing in striped shirts. The normal Diamond kit is pretty iconic in Scottish football and a shame to see them ditching their traditional kit

Yeah, I wonder why they ditched the traditional Diamond. They are probably the most rebranded club in the country. Airdrieonians, Airdrie United and then back to Airdrieonians. They were even forced by some weird medieval law to change their club crest because it was a shield containing lettering inside it or something which is apparently illegal. It’s the sort of unbelievable shit that would normally happen to us (although our crest is a shield with lettering!). Airdrie might as well change their nickname now from The Diamonds to The Vertical Lines, just to keep their fans on their toes.

Apparently they've had trouble getting their "real" shirts delivered in due to COVID restrictions, and these striped shirts are temporary shirts only and haven't been put on sale for the public. It seems like they're working well enough for them though, and the issue hasn't been resolved in a month... so why change it lol.
