Agree with a lot of that. Sharp I feel will cost us a few goals this season and I don’t think he’s ready. Hope we can sort him out with a loan and get Legzdins in. Legzdins settled down the back 4 last time he came into the team a couple of season’s ago and I think he would do the same again. French and Sweeney have the potential to be a great pairing. French in particular will be useful this season when teams sit in because he’s willing to bring the ball out of defence and can pick a pass.

Josh Mulligan will be the Championship player of the season.

Really hope you're right but I fear he'll be away in January. No new contract yet and bigger clubs will have people in his ear. He'll develop better at Dens in our first team than someone else's bench but agents being agents they'll be filling his head with nonsense.

Sweeney is a bombshell-5 conceded in 3 games-need much better with composure to step up

Agree that we are a team on the up but as alluded in Bowyer's post match analysis we have plenty to work on.

Last night for me again Marshall was caught out on more than one occasion and will cost us goals again this season. Sharp (kicking was better last night ) doesn't control his box with any real authority and I would prefer it for Legzdins to bring his experience to that role. Finally McMullan to me is an impact player who goes missing for much of the game and to me would be better as a tactical replacement from the bench.

Bowyer is creating something special at Dens but we must stop giving goals away because teams will try to simply stop us this season and single goal victories will be priceless.

You could be right, but if so we must make sure there is a proper sell on clause.

It’s only Mulligan’s first season as a regular starter and we are only 3 games into league campaign. As you say, his agent will be getting ready to get carried away based in Josh’s performances so far, but I think there is still plenty time for Bowyer to sort out a new deal for him.

Mulligan managed 36 senior games last season, 13 of which were for Dundee in the Premiership. I'm sure he will have plenty of admirers and January is only 4.5 months away.

Clubs are keeping tabs on Josh but i am led to believe  he is in no rush to leave Dens.  He is a very grounded young lad.   A work colleague has known Josh and his family for years, in fact he said to me a good few years back that Josh was one to watch for the future.   Yes he will move on eventually but acccording to my work colleague he is keen to stay and learn his trade at Dens.

Mulligan has really progressed in such a short amount of time.

He was hyped up by Si Ferry at Peterhead with his Bale comparisons and once he settled back at Dens he's kept getting better.

The difference between other young lads likes of Anderson and Robertson is that Mulligan has the strength to hold off boys whilst being very direct.

He's becoming very influential already in the team the same way as young Kev Mcdonald did.

Am I allowed to say that Mulligan looks more exciting and destined to have a bigger career than the much overhyped Craig Wighton?

Joking aside Mulligan is as good a prospect as we've seen in the last 10yrs, maybe more.
