Greenock Morton Football Club is a Scottish professional football club, which plays in the Scottish Championship. The club was founded as Morton Football Club in 1874, making it one of the oldest senior Scottish clubs. Morton was renamed Greenock Morton in 1994 to celebrate the links with its home town of Greenock.

Saturday (Non Match Day): 10am-1pm

Home match days: 10am – 30 minutes after full time whistle (please note that the ticket office is closed during the match)

Sunday: Closed, unless there is a home match

For evening matches the ticket office will normally open at 10 am and close at kick off.

Dundee are looking to make it three wins on the bounce this weekend when we travel to Cappielow to take on Greenock Morton on Saturday, kick off 3pm.

A win at Raith Rovers followed by victory over Arbroath last weekend moved Gary Bowyer’s side to the top of the cinch Championship.

Was just listening to the Up Wi’ the Bonnets podcast and they were saying Morton only have two goalkeepers in there squad who are 18 and 20 surely we can put pressure on the young keeper who plays?

Also made me wonder what happened to “Flap” but see he is now without a club!

Was last there April 1978, last game of season. We won 3-2 but Hearts won at Arbroath to pip us for promotion. Anyway 0-3. Robinson to score at least 1.

I was there too. Fabulous away support it the 12k crowd if I remember correctly.

We must have had at least 3-4000 through that day. Watched the game from the Coo Shed which was half filled wi Dundee fans, got very tasty in there at times. Travelled with the Dee Club that day and had their customary stop at the Moray Arms in Blackford. Arrived around 11am and the place was full of pished up farmers listening to an accordionist who looked and sounded he'd been on the drink all night. Happy days

Remember it well, especially coming out after the game when someone said Arbroath had equalised, meaning Dundee were promoted. The rumour spread like wildfire but as I was listening to Sportsound, or whatever it was called then, and realied that sadly the rumour was not true. Great support then, but probably not so many on Saturday .

Yep think it was Jocky taking a corner during the match and somebody shouted at him there had been an equaliser, the crowd went wild.

Maybe my memory is going but I don't think Jocky was playing that day?  My recollection is that Ian Redford was playing in his position.  Maybe I'm wrong of course.
