2 More Signings to Go

Paul Hartley was quoted as saying the other day that he plans on bringing in four more players on top of what we've signed. Since he said that, Hemmings and Holt have signed PCA's with us. One has to assume that one of the remaining two will be a keeper.

Where is the other position needing filled? Any rumours about who these two could/will be?

We've obviously been linked with David Mitchell in goal. Also been linked with Clark Robertson and Andy Webster amongst others in recent times, but with the signings of Holt and Meggatt these positions seem shored up.

Anyone else we've been linked with?

Keaghan Jacobs was another I forgot about.

Has to be a winger. We're pretty well covered all over now apart from on the wings. Even if Hartley wants to play his narrow formation, we need some width to change it when teams are sitting in.

Post I just put on P&B about it:

Names we've been linked to in recent weeks are:

David Mitchell (Keeper so that fills one slot)

Andy Webster & Clark Robertson - One would assume that with the signings of Meggatt and Holt these won't be followed up on (Could easily be wrong).

John McGinn - Potentially him, but with Wigan apparently looking at him and a tasty fee being required on top of the fact we're already well covered in his position makes it look unlikely.

Keaghan Jacobs - Another midfielder but can play on either wing as well, which many think we badly need! Might he take up the role as the last new outfield signing we make this season/over the course of pre-season?

Anyone else we've been linked with?

Holt's fee wasn't too big. Which means there is at least 3 players coming in. One of which is the keeper which will be confirmed soon. Winger is from Europe. John McGinn won't sign this week.....

Hartley said something similar last pre-season and ended up signing far more.He most likely doesn't want clubs/players/agents to think we've got a wad of cash, plus if Hartley thought he could get rid of the contracted players who haven't quite cut it I think we'd sign a couple more.Might be he sees a smaller squad next season with a few kids making the step-up though.
