Last night's highlights on the Falkirk telly YouTube  channel.. I know, they were only highlights.. but thought we played well.. plenty of pace in the team.. some good goals .. Robinson played well.. I know many slag Ridden, but I quite like him as well.. tireless worker and often left up from on his own.. give him time. Cameron looked promising took his goal well.. Robinson sending him in with a sweet pass.. Ashcroft took his header well.. and the pen was blasted in.. all in all, good result.. decent performance.. I still hope we can get a couple in today.. Sheridan was off commentating tonight... we need another striker and a centre back/ left back imho.. btw the Falkirk coverage was decent.. and the commentators weren't that bad either..

I was not impressed by what I saw on these highlights .Kerr missed a clear first half chance which might have changed things.He has no left foot and struggles at LB.He should never play left side again and must be in right defence but is a bit slow.Can he be developed into a midfielder with a lot of hard work which I am sure he would be up for.?

Our first goal came directly from a bad clearance.A good header forward to Cameron who was almost unmarked and he finished well.

Second goal well taken typical Ashcroft power header which occasionally a mediocre defence will allow.But not that often in Championship.

We were against a team from lower division and even they might have got a goal.Ashcroft was rusty and will play better and he will help French but we badly need tighter defence and especially a LB who can defend as Marshall is good going forward but a poor defender

I lot of improvement required before we can be optimistic about the season

Did he not get a MOM award for a game where he was playing at left back last season. He was playing out of position-cut him a bit of slack. And I'm not sure you were really watching, the header went to Robinson who then passed to Cameron.

Kerr at left back at this level is a lot more solid defensively. Personally, I don't think it's the worst idea in the world for a wee run or certain games when we've been looking so weak at the back. Ideally another left back to compliment Marshall but no guarantee you'll find one who is any better defensively, Cammy annoys me a lot but he does have a lot of experience and has been excellent under Bowyer IMO.
