What a waste of money his signing has been. If the rumours regarding his wage and who signed him are true then it really shouldn't be the club which takes the hit. We could probably afford 3 players for the money he's rumoured to be on.

Why is he still being paid if he isn't even in the country? Is he taking less money in exchange for sunning himself in Miami?

If he's on full wages why isn't he here trying to get a game or a new team?

Amateur hour.

I really hope your wrong about this but I'll not surprised if everything you say is true, it's truely unbelievable we have a player that even isn't in the country, surely that's enough to rip up the contract.

If he is unable to be in the country then he can’t fulfill his contract- I’d be surprised if he is still being paid on that basis. Players get fined their wages for turning up late from international duty.

The BUT is if we are contractually responsible for ensuring his papers are in place then whoever agreed those terms should get their coat.

Really grasping at straws but are we caught up in some kind of scam here?. The owners, particularly Keyes, are wealthy individuals so I'm not sure they'd need the money but somebody somewhere is making a fast buck at our expense. Bar the Bonetti era I've never seen so many players coming into the club on decent contracts and then sitting on their Arse twiddling their thumbs. I get that the owners are covering any financial shortfalls but I've never bought into the belief that their financial help is a charitable donation. The more we rack up the less clout we'll have further down the line when, or if, the terms and conditions of our new stadium lease agreement is being negotiated.

I've not made a list but there seem to have been a shitload of left field misfits who've came and went without breaking sweat.

An example of how this club has been disintegrating  during the Nelms era.

And wasn't Hamilton a similar case of doing someone a favour? At the club's expense.

Our hard earned cash is paid for players we can watch play for the Dee, not for the benefit of who knows who. That said  we have others on the books who should be on their way.

My mate suggested that these strange signings from the States/Canada etc must be part of some sort of scholarship for players to gain experience and exposure to European football first team training. In other words they (or their sponsors) pay Dundee to have them. Its not a completely ridiculous suggestion. However, unless we know the details of the payroll then we’ve no idea if these players are at the Club’s expense or not.
