Over Zealous F'kn Stewarding.

Absolutely raging pre-match with the attitude of these Feckin jobsworths. 

So my lass is at training today for 4hrs and gets out not long before k/o. She's having a snack and bottle of water on the way to Dens. As we approach the turnstiles a steward reaches out to my daughter, who's slightly ahead of me, snatches the water out of her hand, aggressively throws it in a bin then proceeds to search her. She's a F'kn kid!. 

I had a go at the steward but to be honest I was pretty shocked & surprised. If the steward had said something beforehand along the usual lines then it wouldn't have been an issue. The aggressive manner without saying a word before telling my daughter to turn out her pickets was out of order. I'm just sorry that I didn't get the steward name but as I said I was a bit shocked.

Apparently they offer the same type of treatment to Rangers & Celtic fans when they come to town.

90% of them are just doing a job..its the 10% who think they have a hi-viz vest on gives them some sort of licence to act like a twat...lost count of how many times they went thru my bairns bags demanding that a qwenchy cup should be drunk before entering the ground...while squads of pished blokes just walked right in...

I wouldn't have minded too much if they'd said something beforehand. Incidentally they didn't search me.

of course they didnt search you for the same reason they dont search pished weegies....scared they get a fucking verbal or worse thrown at them.

They got a verbal regardless. In what other walk of life is it acceptable to lay your hands on a minor without uttering a word?. I'm sure there's a code of conduct that they've to adhere to plus of course to employ some common sense.

I believe they are not legally allowed to search kids. Just say no and they cannot continue

I know for a fact that is not the way they are trained . Report it to Dens as they will know who was in what gate and when. My son does the stewarding and he takes a lot of abuse from both home and away supporters

That's what I though Billy but we were both caught off guard as it happened without any prior warning. I was annoyed afterwards because my daughter was shocked and said so when we took our seats. I should've got the stewards name but didn't.

My wife did as she was in as a guest with her dad rather than taking up her normal seat with us.

According to my son whenever a child has a bag . The steward asks the parent to look into the bag to check for bottles etc. he also says there are a few idiots who are stewards who think they are The Law

The stewards in the Bobby Cox are absolute clowns. A guy sitting across from me called the two black guys for queens monkeys today and they done nothing but they search a child? I can guarantee I'll fall out with one of them this season
