Still no news of new deals for the likes of mulligan, Cameron, sharp,Anderson etc. These boys will be free to speak to clubs in January. Will be a kick in the teeth if these lads don't get signed up

I think I have just about reached the stage, whereby the lack of statements/announcements/comms/news/interaction with fans from JN/DFC, is now beyond commenting on .... But in this particular area, I honestly would have expected better.

Guess JN and Co, must be very, very, busy people...Hmmm.

I believe (and I'm not ITK) that Mulligan has been offered a new contract. But there is interest from at least 1 club (Down south) with a view of a PCA

Thanks Sebastian (genuinely) for posting the possible update of the situation.

Although on general level, DFC's continued deep silence poilcy bewilders me.

Hope all this focus on "the bigger plans" in the distant future, is not at the expense of, the day to day success, of our  CLUB....eg; A full, all-out focus, head on driving effor,t to win promotion this season....

Or is this to be another season of another real opportunity lost...(I'm not depessed about this)   Just angry

If any truth in the possible PCA with another club, this will mean that the best talent to come through in many a year will leave without us getting a fee, apart from a development fee.Unfuckinbelievable

Wouldn't surprise me, shafted again

I suppose we've got to accept that this might not actually be true though mate.

I know approaches are made to players under contract but the professional and done thing is to contact the players club to ask for permission. I don't think he can sign a PCA in September anyway.

Hoping that we are actually going to make efforts to keep these guys. Leaving for nothing at the end of their contract is the worst possible out come for the club and might not be in the players best interests either.

If someone pays a fee for a player there seems to be much more effort to ensure that there is a return on the investment. Joining a club for nothing might put the player in a "most expendable" category, when selection choices may need to be made at their new clubs.
