Fans old enough will remember when we liked Billy Dodds.

Can't help but compare Cameron to him in his early days as a Dee.

If he ends up half as good, he will do for me.

Just hope he doesn't follow his choice of clubs 😱

Strange to me that Kerr and Cameron sat on their arse the whole game v ICT. Both were very good yesterday.

Absolute legend at the time, i went to many matches and he was my hero back then, fresh up the road from Chelski, outstanding player - very hard working - shame how it went with him, wouldnt look twice at him these days....

Met him at a family party in Smugglers (edit-was actually the Marquee) many years ago. My mother in law decided to tell him that he was my hero for some reason which was a bit of a minter considering I was about 25.😳

Cameron is a good finisher and has that handy skill of finding himself in really good positions, even when he’s playing off the left. Can’t get enough goal scoring midfielders so he’s fairly indispensable at the moment. Really happy for him because I know he’s worked really hard on his game and on his physique etc knowing that he’s not naturally as athletic as someone like Mulligan or Anderson.

5 goals for the season and he had 7 attempts on goal yesterday. He has the ability to find space around the box and has a decent weaker foot as evidenced by his goal. Tbh he should have had a hattrick.

Think someone mentioned it a few weeks back but recently Stewart Petrie and Sean Dillon praised him very highly when he was on loan at Montrose. Dillon said he was one of very few who could replicate in matches what he did in training and has all the attributes to have a good career. He also said he was surprisingly strong for his build.

Dodds was one of my favourites being of that age category also. I’m not sure I see the same kind of player in Cameron, but he does seem to know exactly where the goal is and like many have said always seems to pop up in dangerous positions. Been very impressed with him, long may jt continue

Must also have a strong character. Probably 3 years ago McPake played him in a vital game at Dunfermline and was understandably out of his depth. Thankfully he's progressed amazingly well.
