Arbroath Football Club is a semi-professional Scottish football club based in the town of Arbroath, Angus. They currently play in the Scottish Championship. The club was founded in 1878 and plays home matches at Gayfield Park. They play in maroon strips and are nicknamed "The Red Lichtles" due to the red light that is used to guide fishing boats back from the North Sea to Burgh's harbour. The Red Lichtles share a long-standing and fierce rivalry with local neighbours Montrose, as well as with fellow local sides Forfar Athletic and Brechin City.

PREVIEW

It’s a quick return to action this weekend as we hit the road for the third time in a week to face Arbroath at Gayfield on Saturday, kick off 3pm.

The teams have met once already this season with Dundee running out 4-2 winners at Dens.

The Red Litchies are currently bottom of the table but had back to back wins last month including a cup win. Last time over they were beaten by Cove Rangers.

This is a sticky one. Bowyer needs to resist the temptation to make big changes and make sure we get back to releasing McMullan and McCowan wide and early in order to open up a tight pitch.

Biggest game for Bowyer so far IMO.

McMullan and McCowan (or Mcginn) is a must for me. Last few weeks with only McMullan has left us really imbalanced imo and midfielders having to play out of position.
