Not sure if its already been mentioned but I see George Cran is saying that the Chapman signing was down to Nelms and Mcpake just towed the party line when he said he was part of it .Apparently he was on a hefty wage and was the clubs top earner this season.  Remember this was the first guy we signed when we still had an even chance of staying up if we had a successful transfer window!

No wonder we are in such a state

Another club (either St Johnstone or St Mirren I think) walked away when they heard his wage demands. 

Next thing you know he's at Dens.

Would have been gone long ago when it become clear he wouldn’t be back across. Club took action, and let’s just say they couldn’t do anything else as a certain person claimed against the club which turned out the way it has, with not a bean being paid up of his contract since he went AWOL

Don't think he did, we played Aberdeen in December at Pittodrie, before he signed, and late in the season when McGhee was manager. Sure he only made a couple of sub appearance, both away from home.

30 minutes against Motherwell away, and 5 minutes against Utd. Not bad for the highest paid player at dens apparently.
