Agree 100%. Unfortunately Rudden couldn't be his usual nuisance today because every ball from Sheridan was frighteningly bad.

Sheridan won nearly all the high balls put up to him,held it up and layed it off. 

Rudden couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Sheridan is lacking sharpness which is understandable but he still made some decent runs and pressed well. Won a decent amount of headers. He needs games.

Rudden, however, is struggling for form. His physical strength looks to be lacking, he can't hold off the tackle and he's too frantic on the ball as a result.

Strange how we can all sometimes see things differently. For me Sheridan was winning the balls right enough but he was laying them off to people in the stands or, mostly, Ayr defenders.

Gary's front two were awful Sheridan wouldn't be in any other team so why ours ?

And what can I say about Mr Sweeney that's not been said already, I fear a real doing at the Rangers in midweek with our centre back.

Rudden, for me, offers absolutely zip. No physical presence and no composure whatsoever. Think McPake must have watched Graham and told his name was Rudden.

I thought Sheridan was awful and so did the manager by the look of things.. Rudden not much better but loved his wee flick in the first half.

His control and touch really let him down, especially when he is being expected to hold up play or in tight.  The ball is never close enough to his body, making him easy to dispossess. Running on to a ball, he is better.

GB should’ve realised that after the Cove game. Utter pish when they came on and quality crosses were coming in from both sides too.
