Craig Whyte Facing Arrest Again:

Recommended Posts

Seems another arrest warrant has been made for former Rangers director Craig Whyte.

He was due to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice in London this morning but failed to show.

Ticketus are suing him for £18m for his part in the takeover of Rangers . Mr Justice Newey issued the arrest warrant after neither Whyte or his legal team appeared for his summons.

Well, another episode in the saga that was once called Rangers.

(Wee bit off-topic) ........When the BBC TV Sports Bit comes on aroond 6.45pm (always west coast focused) if it is specifically aboot Rangers, I show even less interest, but is it my imagination that every guy I've seen, that has had any financial  involvement with Rangers over the past few years, looks like they should be on Crimewatch.  ....... I mean Craig White looks real shifty !!

And could somebody tell me please, were two of the administrators ( no the ains on here) up to some financial nonsense as well ? Arrested ?

(Mayber I picked up that last bit wrang ........ as I say, I only half listen)

I think the whole farce, from David Murray onwards should be looked at. There is no way that club should be that much in debt and still be allowed to spend obscene amounts of money on (premiership) players to play in the lower leagues.

What other club would be allowed to or would even do that? Something really stinks at The Rangers, and it ain't coisty's socks!

What I dont get is why people continue to throw money at it!

How much more can they make even if they do make it back up?

A couple more celtic games a season isn't going to make that much of an impact.

Europe? Nah!

Don't get me wrong, I understand "Loyalty", but isn't this exactly the same thing other teams have been pilloried for? (Including THEM! They've learned NOTHING, it seems.)

Financially for our club it would still be better if they came back up. It hurts to say it, but if we stay up and next year their is a new sponsor etc., we could really make a fist of staying up and cementing our place in the premier for a long time :)

The way they're leaking money at the moment, will they be able to continue without financial help? Unless someone bankrolls them or they continue to spend stupid money on players, there is a very good chance they could either go into administration or fold again.

Yes it would be better for us to have The Rangers, Hearts and Hibs back in the premiership, but I would rather wait a couple of years to get us established first and have a team that would be pushing top 6 every year. ;)
