Livi reserve game

Recommended Posts

Second best most of the game tbh despite having 1st teamers Finn, Byrne, Mcginn, Jakubiak and Osei playing although Livi also had a few first teamers playing.

Byrne did ok before coming off at h/t but best for us were Luke Graham, Finn, and Max who came on at half time. Finn's passing with both feet was v good and Max made a big difference in midfield.

McGinn I thought was ok and showed good movement despite not getting much ball in the first half. However Jakubiak and Osei were shite despite being up against young defenders. Jak takes too many chances in possession for me, either trying to do it all himself or play an impossible pass and invariably gives the ball away. Osei just went about giving away fouls instead of actually competing for the ball. He's a right funny shape too.

GB was in attendance and must have been impressed by Finn and Max.

Some of our younger players look malnourished and weak compared to Livi's youngsters, Graham and Lamb excepted. Hopefully they can bulk up a bit or they'll just get pushed around.

Thank Wattie, for the detailed feed back ... (Although I'm noo gettin a we bit even mair concerned just what the future holds for the "Once Famous Dark Blues).....Between "funny-shaped, weak, malnourished players" :lol2:

I really feel, that no one one at the top are taking(any aspects) of the future of DFC's ambitions on the playing field seriously...What's happened to the Club I first watched, more than 70 years ago? :tears:

On a personal level, I think the general poor/shocking (hurting) results & performances  this season has made me question, just how more of this I can take!!.    Not much more I think.

I certainly do not want to hear any more of the "New Shiny Campie Project" whilst we struggle on & on, in games, against opposition, that quite frankly, I question whether they should be on the same park as us.

Dundee (John Nelms) why not re-focus totally on making this Promotional season for the Club we Love.

Sorry for allowing this thread to go off-topic & into a rant (It's just that it hurts & like all DFC Fans, I care)

Anyway it's a' Wattie's fault...His opening post upset me and opened up "auld wounds":chaplin:

I think we were spoiled by having such a good crop of youngsters in Fisher, Finn, Max, josh and lyall and that we probably won't get so many emerging at the same time very often. That's not to say we don't have some good youngsters emerging, just not as many.

Hi Prince it may be I've been away from DBF & too long "in recovery" ... Still most times  even more confused than usual, & still totally confined to hoose, hobbling aroond on zimmer, heavily medicated  (I'm mentioning this freend, no looking for sympathy, but no too sure what your comment means/refer to):chaplin:

You said 'Sorry for allowing this thread to go off-topic & into a rant (It's just that it hurts & like all DFC Fans, I care)'. And as I said @gedee there's nothing wrong with caring.

Hope you're better soon - maybe you could sort out the rest of us fans with some of that medication? We need something to take the edge off being a Dundee fan.

Thanks for geting back Prince...

Guess the longish period away from DBF means it's taking me longer to get back in the groove :)

Regarding request for some of my mdication for fellow DFC Fans during these troubling times :chin:

Put this to Committee (Voices) At this time they will not entertain the idea. They have priority:chaplin:

Meanwhile, let's get, not only the forum buzzing again, but DFC  pulling out all stops for promoion.

(That's an honest and genuine message for DFC (JN)...The Club, Managr, Coaches, Players & Fans)
