Are all to be released/not offered a new deal. Fair spine of their recognisable players leaving. Any that interests you?

Eremenko is supposed to be a quality player with question marks over fitness, like Harkins. I haven't seen an awful lot of him to make a judgement but we could do with another playmaker to pull the strings.

Clingan always seemed decent enough at what he was asked to do, break up attacks. Other than that? Nah.

Noticed Dylan Pooler is away too. He's a 17 year old forward who they have previously raved about and who played with Wighton for the Scotland Under 17s. Their under 20 team play some brilliant football and seem to be full of technically gifted players. Always worth checking these young guys out and finding the true story. Not heard of that Mark Thomson boy.

I like Eremenko but he'd be on a fair wedge and is sort of like Harkins in terms of his playing style. The issue is though, we've signed a lot of attackers and although it'd be nice to have that option, there will be many games that we will already have good attackers on the bench so we could become too top heavy.

Pascali would be a good squad player to have if we want one more centre half. He turned down an offer because he was expecting a longer deal with more money so I'd rather pass and look for someone a bit younger.

Miller is pish.

Clingan is a good enough player but incredibly injury prone.

Pascali might be worth a look. A bit of experience in defence is never a bad thing.

I've always liked Pascali and he's always seemed to strangely like Dundee. Pushing on a bit now, but if he'd accept a deal as a back-up CH then I'd go for it.

We've got lots of midfielders and forwards but who, apart from Harkins, is good at creating goalscoring opportunities for others? When Harkins gets injured the goals dry up. I think we need another creative attacking midfielder for when Harkins is injured or out of form.

Well if we've got Stewart, Hemmings and Loy to accommodate, it may be the case that we end having the option of a system that allows us to play on the break and I really struggle to see us ever playing a team that has those three + Harkins in it just because the pressure at the back would be too difficult to take.  It's not that I disagree with you that Harkins is great at producing goalscoring opportunities and is going to be a player who we will need a lot next season, it's just that the players coming into the club offer us a different sort of threat that we haven't had before and we can play in a different sort of way now.

Given that, I'd rather look at strengthening the back and getting wide player to use as an outlet first (and obviously a 'keeper). We don't know the wage budget situation but I do believe Hartley when he says that it'll only be 2-3 more by the start of the season. If we can get Ferry and Roberts out, that might free up a bit more.

Seems to be a good friend of Harkins. Did get the feeling we'll sign him last season. It'd be great if he'd lower his demands to come here.
