Nelms / Bowyer who gets my vote?

So it seems like GB won the league *despite* John Nelms and well done to him. I was in such a positive mood on Friday and into the weekend. Well done for carrying on and winning the league despite negative factors trying to pull you back. At board level it really is a pantomime. What's Gordon Strachan providing as DOF? We have a managerial merry-go-round and continual bad management at board level.  How much are these guys being paid? Does Tim Keyes ever do any due diligence or is it all done on the golf course? I fear that Dundee FC have simply become a 'lifestyle choice' to add value to a few individuals' lives. They aren't bothered about decent progress to the level our fans deserve as they just see it as some sort of entertainment...and it seems an expensive sort of entertainment. Why the hell are Livingston, Ross County, St Mirren, St Johnstone, Motherwell all in a better position that ourselves and have been for a few years?

I’d say Dundee won the league in spite of Bowyer. It’s possible that Nelms and Bowyer aren’t very good.

I am not over troubled by Bowyer being away. I don't think that he deserved the sack like that though,  if  the stories of how and why it was done are true,  and would suggest that  he has been treated poorly.  The joy of Friday has seen my cheerios seriously  pissed on  as a result of the strong rumours of Davidson as a fete-accompli. That would be  McPake all over again if we were to get the same platitudes about recruitment process coming from John Nelms , as was then, when we all knew he was bull-shitting us. For those at the club who read this forum, and at least one does,  shoe horning Davidson in  will be extremely unpopular.  We have  had so much crap foisted upon us, manager-wise,  in the past at the hands of John Nelms. It is not good enough to not advertise this job. Actually advertise. Better to wait a couple of weeks and try and get the best man for the job.  The manager is our key turd-polisher. More important than any player.

I decide a while back.. whether bad results or other news from DFC, good or bad.. , to just take a step back and not make judgements too early... so, I'll reserve judgement... look back on posts after big wins or unexpected losses... it's menopause central.. there may be a middle ground....
