I wonder how they are doing? Another pay day coming up next week and another chance for buying?

Our club really needs to push some positive buttons soon re manager, players, stadium etc to encourage sales. Accepting the cost of living, its a big ask for many but if the Dabs can sell over 4000, by whatever means and offers, surely we can get a bit near that. Our fans cannot be more skint than theirs so they are doing something right.

Cue vitriol v Dabs?

Think their tickets are a bit cheaper than ours and whilst there season has been a bit of a disaster to date the one's I've spoken to are welcoming a season in the Championship and the opportunity to rebuild.

You'd think that the mood in both our camp and theirs would be the opposite to what it is given both circumstances.

When we don't know who our manager is going to be, unsure who the players will be bar a few, and when there is still a cost of living crisis it is no surprise that people are not putting their hand in their pocket to buy an overpriced ticket for a venue that has been allowed to run down by our "leader".

our budget will depend on what league united are playing in next season, if they survive we should have 2 home games against them guaranteed which will no doubt make the season ticket a more attractive option, but if they go down then suddenly the season ticket isn't such an attractive option and our playing budget will be tighter due to a lack  of sales and 2  potential sell outs being replaced by ross county and there 50 fans.

The revenue of two home sell out, or near sell out crowds in front of 11,000 fans at £30 a ticket minus season ticket holders.

Or Ross County/Killie  in front of 4500 to 5500 fans with 3000 to 3500 season ticket holders having already bought a ticket.

Don't think many outwith the boardroom would shed a tear if they go doon though.

I've just not got around to renewing yet, but I will.

A new season with a new manager and a mostly new squad, I'll be there pressing that DFC shaped bruise on my heart just like I was at the start of last season as we started the season in a new league, with a new manager and some new players.

I'm kidding myself on if I say that I'm not renewing.

If United stay up they will probably get the two home matches against us like they usually do.

Unless we draw them in both cups I can't see it! 🤣
