But C'mon lads & lassies, we can surely dae better the just SIX DBF active members...Not good enough :chin:

I checked into My Inner Voices for some "Suggestions" to stimulate conversation. But they've also gone

This is developing into very serious situation. I've been told by others it's good to talk. So whar are you:chaplin:

Everyone is too busy darning their LJs in preparation for winter 😉

Maybe it's an Auld Age Thingy Freend ... But eh'm a great believe,r in thinking, that the Auld Jokes are the Best

Like a Guid Wine, improve a great deal by ..."Repeat/Ageing Process" (Luckily, I've got My Voices to remind me) :happyyes:

Whilst on subject of Long John's I've noticed recently, that some of mine, are going missing fae my washin line :chin:

Know there can be a weird tendency, for some folk to steal  ladies, lacy panties of the line. & we've a' done that

But here, on the coast  wi ' the cauld strong gusty wild stormy winter winds , emphasis  is on LJ's & Bloomers:chaplin:

It's not that we dinnae hae, oor Fair Share of Perverts up my way. But the localiity  means, practicality prevails :bye:

Good Day QuesoGrande ... Firstly, Thank you for response (Appreciated)

Especially, as I'm trying to work-through, & come to terms,  with the recent loss of my loving, hard-working, wife & head gardener, & all-round, very special great lady, Margaret. I'm not at all proud of the state of my garden at this time...It is being totally neglected in the present circumstances.

But to make a wee bit effort to answer you... Just bear in mind, as long as health, fitness, age allows, I'd emphasise, just about anyone/everyone, would benefit from spending some time in garden/greenhouse...Especially if it's something you can share with your partner. I can honestly say, from my perspective, it has never saved me any money...And at times it's been very hard work. But there is something satisfying & therapeutic in the process (& if nature is kind) the end result/harvest.

I definitely had a fixation/obsession, about Tomatoes &  Potatoes. In fact, all kinds of  Organic fruit/vegetables

But as you also have experienced, and pointed out...So did the snails, slugs, and ither sneaky beasties & pests.:explode:

Eh'd suggest friend, to start with keeping things, small & simple. And go for the easy stuff.

No need to be over-optimistic & too ambitious. Learned that last bit, wi supporting DFC ;)

Don't worry if ye find out it's not really for you/family. Guid Auld LIDL is an Alternative:chaplin:

Well I’ll bash on for next season (both the growing season and the football season, let’s hope at least one of them is successful).
Suspect Lidl might be getting more custom though!

Hi again freend, I know I was emphasising the Therapeutic Value of...

Gardening, Oor Fitba Club (& I might as weel, include Fishing as weel)

But on reflection, if there's a connection between Therapy & Reward :chin:

I'll also just stick to LIDL. Might even buy myself Big Bunch Flowers
