According to The Courier online today.

Good thing or bad thing?

Best thing for his development IMO - not ready for Premiership but will shine in Championship.

Good thing to play every week hopefully at a decent level- Rangers, Hibs, St.Mirren, Falkirk, QOS, etc - -should toughen him up, help strength and football savvy.

Good for the player to play every week but slightly surprising considering Hartley said half way through last season something along the lines of he would feature more for us next season.

Good move for him and us as well.

Great opportunity for him to develop his undoubted talent playing week in, week out hopefully.

Easy to forget he is just seventeen years old.

Hopefully he'll come back stronger, wiser and ready to stake a claim in our first team.

Might even take a trip down to Rovers to watch him when we're playing at Septic Park or something.

Good luck Craig.

Defo a good move for him at this stage.

Jonny Russell of the filth progressed very well there.

Perfect move for him. He still might struggle in the champinship but at least he will get game time and will hopefully bulk up etc. Still very very young so this could be the best thing for him.

Good for player and the team.

Good season at championship level will boost his confidence and toughen him up.

Hopefully then he can come back like Forsyth did and slot straight into the first team.

Good move all round. Raith get a good player who should be a starter for them each week and he's working with a manager who had him for a spell last season so who obviously rates him also which will help his confidence and we have a young player who needs regualr game time to improve himself and show what he can do and he will get that opportunity against good opposition and players.. Win-win all round.

Agree with all that has been said.    If PH feels he is not quite ready for a run at DFC, I am happy to trust our Manager's judgement.

But I do believe he has to have a steady run of regular, weekly 90 minute games. With Raith, he has he opprtunity to do just that.

Lets hope by this coming season, he makes the progress, we all hope for, and he returns to DFC a more confident, stronger player.

Aged at 17 years, this one season away, and coming back one year older, could make all the difference.    Best of Good Luck Craig.

Brilliant move for the boy.

Raith will have in mind a playoff spot so hopefully he can shine and be a big part of that.

Good move for him to go to a club in the championship, Would have preferred the likes of falkirk to suit his attacking style slightly but still a good move. Him playing to provide Nade(if he is still there?) will be good experience. I also hope its for a full season and we dont have the option to call him back. Needs a full season away!
