What would you change regards operations at Dens?

I'd actually charge u12s more for season tickets if it meant a reduction in price for that crucial 12-16 age group.

I'd offer better deals on hospitality.

I'd switch the away end to the Coxy so Dundee fans are closer together.

I'd have a standing section at the Coxy end of the Derry with cheaper tickets available as it's uncovered.

I'd also like to see an 18-25 age category or something similar for tickets. A lot of that age group might be apprentices or recent graduates who will be on lower wages and can't afford to full price so will pick and choose games to go to. I would also get an e-ticketing system sorted and offer at least one PATG turnstile in the Main Stand.

're  Hospitality I agree we should be looking to offer better deals for example a Grade  B match offers:

Charlie Cooke per person at £ 96 incl vat no drinks a 2 course meal with H/T snack and match programme - IMO this worth £72 incl vat only.

Legends at £156 incl vat drink as much as you can get served with a 3 course meal and H/T snack and programme,  the whole experience is first class so cost fair.

What we need is an in between Offer where you can enjoy say a 1 course meal with H/T pie and programme and 6 complimentary  drink tokens with an additional pay bar service , my value £110 incl vat.

This cannot be compared to the £35/40 offered at Violet,East Craigie, North End etc where you do get value for money on a great day out

Glad you remembered 20% of everything sold at Dens goes to the Vatman, and the club have to make money, not break even.

Unsure if your reply is of sarcasm or assuming I am an uneducated erse in commerce , I think both, my costs based roughly on a £6 unit drink charge and £30 on a single meal and H/T peh,the admission cost as on the ticket ,if DFC cannot gain profits on this then feck me

Yes to all of that. The £1 ticket is crazy.   I have one for my grandaughter because it was a pound.   It should 40 minimum, so if they attend that's just over two quid a game. She hasn't been yet. And we need to encourage 12 -16s into the ground.  For games like Livi and Ross County we should  be handing out tickets for the away end to schools and teh Sunday Boys league.. As a season ticket holder, I wouldn't have any problem with that. And if we work a way to allow the unemployed in cheaply without having the system abused, that would be seem fair  as well.

Better engagement with the universities, colleges, schools, boys, girls and adult football clubs, sports centres, gyms, contact centres, factories, businesses with targets/ bonus payments for staff to encourage new supporters of the club.

16k students at Dundee Uni and 4k at Abertay. 47 schools in Dundee. Places like St Andrews, Cupar, NE Fife, which don’t have competing local professional clubs.

More free tickets to games. I would include bigger fixtures - atmosphere encourages future attendance.

I’m ignorant on what Dundee’s operations team do, so they may do some or all of the above.

When I was a lad they had a reduced price for the unemployed - you just had to show your UB40 card and got cheaper entry.  of course open to abuse as there was no photo etc on it but hey ho.

Just like yourself above Ferry Dee, I don't know what really goes on Behind the Scenes.

That said, it's a Positive Post, that takes a Proactive Approach, & for that Weel Done:chaplin:

At the start of every season I moan about how we market our season tickets, you can have as many early bird offers as you want but until we make it easier for people to pay for them it's going to be the same old thing.

We have to make it easier for fans to buy them, there should be more fan friendly ways of spreading the costs of a season ticket, the finance option never offered enough options and wasn't really workable for a lot of people.

Most people that work will know at least one Dee that never goes to the game for whatever reason, we should be approaching employers and asking them to add a Dundee Season Ticket to their range of employee benefits where they can spread the cost of the season ticket over the year and it is taken at source.....there must be thousands of unused Boardman bikes in sheds all over the country where people bought them on a cycle to work scheme.....it works if it is managed properly.

There must be other options available to allow fans to spread the cost of season tickets, especially if you are buying more than one ticket.
