How did you rate T. Docherty team selection

Difficult to say without knowing why certain players didn't start or even make the squad.

Was Carson injured, or a virus or dropped?

Was Rudden injured, or a virus or dropped?

Did Boateng have a virus or dropped?

Was Main not 90 minute match fit?

Was Donnelly injured? (I must have missed it if he was)

We had defensive worries today with Beck away and Lamie/Portales out, but that line up was simply baffling and bizarre.

Carson had a knock but apparently could've played. Docherty decided not to risk him according to George Cran.

Praised TD plenty previously but after a few days of pondering our possible line up for today I was left crestfallen at what he came up with. There were loads of options and permutations yet he managed to come up with something that left most of our support baffled, bemused and somewhat dismayed. Today's game was lost in the management team's bucky when they somehow fashioned up that starting 11, TD as the head of the team must shoulder the blame on this occasion, no if's, no but's.

TD talks a great game, and will do as to his reasons for the starting 11. The bottom line is he is a rookie. Forget the many years as a number 2, he has never made a decision on loaning,   buying or playing a player never mind choosing a system or when to introduce substitutions. Time will tell if he's better than previous.
