My guess is that there's a way around the apparent traffic issues but it's costly and we'd rather not have to pay it so are hoping for a rethink or an alternative. Finan in the courier today saying similar. He thinks that TS are looking for a major upgrade like a new roundabout. That would run into tens of millions and take years and would likely see the project cancelled. 1

I'm not sure the stadium can be considered the same as a 700 home estate. I'm actually not even sure why it's necessary to have access directly from the Kingsway...why can't everything just be accessed from behind the cinema? 1

It’s not a very big car park so it’s not like hundreds of cars will be using it. It’s only for VIPs, disabled and permit holders. Buses go off at Myrekirk and park on the back road. Fans cars will be at Dunsinane and others. I just don’t see these massive tailbacks that everyone seems to be fretting about. Maybe part of the solution is to reduce the size of the car park. Going o/t, I also don’t think lights at the Swallow were necessary but that’s a whole different argument! 3

Suspect that suspicion might be close to the mark. 1

If its Steve Finan he is a rabid Dab who would love this project to fail.

Those lights at Swallow should be part time because about 20 hours of the day they are absolutely fu*king pointless 1
