Too many people on the gravy train now, we'll either stop at Camperdown Station or come right off the tracks.

FPS or their Property company want to redevelop the Dens Park site, the one thing they are good at is Real Estate projects. If we don’t move out what do they do with it ? Forget all the baloney about toxic substances in the soil etc. I think it would be positive if FPS found a buyer who were more interested in the football side of things than they are. They have done some good things for the club and some not so good things, if they have an exit strategy hopefully it’s one that will not damage the clubs future.

Can you give an example of one of  their good real estate projects please, for those of us who lack that knowledge?

At least we have an excellent playing surface that’s stood up well this season.

I see there is a public consultation for a new , 4th McDonald's restaurant for Riverside.  Their selling point is it will bring needed facilities,  jobs and income for the council and the community.  Isn't that what the new stadium will do but in far greater numbers? Plans have already been approved for refurbishment at Camperdown drive through.  Will it be approved or will it be met with countless objections from Community Trusts, leading to a 4 year delay with the proposed plans already costing £3 million.  I know what my guess would be.

Aye. One development makes folk fatter, the other makes folk fitter. Let’s wait and see.

The last I heard the West End Community Group were raising money for a Court challenge to DBH plans for Training ground facilities at Riverside.Anyone know how that is going?

And are they objecting to the proposed  McDonalds?

I hope its not a case of objections for anything DBH does and ignore everything else??

I seem to remember reading that they'd raised the required amount, £5k I think, to present a legal challenge.

McDonald's will have enough muscle to push this through without too much hassle imo.

I trust you are not referring to 'brown envelopes'.

They'll have the ear of the right people in the right places to push it through. Think we all know how this works.🤝

No construction jobs as they are template buildings assembled in days. Crap paid jobs for schoolies. Meanwhile at Campy we will still have a brownfield site crying out for development
