Some schmoozing needed. Invite TS to the site. Talk through the proposals, agree decisions in the meeting then go away and write it up.
Endless back and forth of proposals, rejections and counter proposals is, as a colleague of mine calls it, a time toilet. A great phrase which describes our situation perfectly.

Some of this stuff on here from guys who probably know nothing about Keys and Nelms seems right over the top. The Council and TS can’t keep running away from making a decision about the stadium,  they know that they are under scrutiny and hopefully we get the right decision before long.

I think it’s Nelms who is under the most scrutiny. TS won’t care until they are satisfied, then over to DCC.

And if someone knows both, well enough to stand by their thinking...they'd tell you the council and TS are not the one delaying this.

Does anyone know how common it is for Transport Scotland to object to private development proposals? I had a quick search online and couldn't see a list of objections raised by them.

Have John Nelms and his transport consultants/experts arranged to sit down with TS to agree on a way forward? For a large project that was initially delayed due to covid and had Brexit cost implications you would think time was money and an early resolution was in everyone 's interest.

Nelms has set up a meeting with members of DSA at Gardyne on Monday evening, hope there is a Q&A so people can get ripped in with pertinent questions. A look at this thread should be enough to get a list of questions armed and ready. Pinning him for answers is the problem because he will spout politician type guff to deflect from the crux of problem.

Is he ever challenged or is there a fear the DSA will be ostracised like Dee4Life?

What if the 'right decision' is the one that you don't want to accept?

I can accept it as long as we don't have to ground share with the crowd inflaters 🙄

Is this a regular thing or is there a specific purpose for this meeting?
