Its only 1 per club,so we need the ex shop steward types to go and grill him....

John Nelms doesn't take grillings, he grills.

Some of this stuff on here from guys who probably know nothing about Keys and Nelms seems right over the top. The Council and TS can’t keep running away from making a decision about the stadium,  they know that they are under scrutiny and hopefully we get the right decision before long.

You do realise that anyone, from all backgrounds and with different skillsets, experience etc, can post on here behind a username?. The vast majority maybe don't have the knowledge you suggest but there are definitely some who do.

The only thing I’m suggesting is not to demonise somebody most of us know nothing about.  Some people are blaming Nelms, some others the Arab Council and some are blaming TS.  Conspiracy theories are usually just that, theories.

I don't think there is a conspiracy. Maybe a mistake was made at the beginning with the purchase of Campy?

Time will tell, but I see this two fold :

Keyes wants a successful product and profitable operation in Scotland. Is he getting either? and how long will it be sustained (or backed) by the ££££ of keyescape..

I find it concerning the amount of time and delays - personally, the longer it goes on the longer it wont happen and the above will be a decision for 'Keyes.

You have to ask yourself had Tim put in someone with real success and experience into both projects Dundee FC and Stadia : we might have been in a completely different position..... my two cents.... In the corporate world : there would have been multiple changes by now.

Demonise?  When you are in charge of a football club you should take responsibility for it.

For the money spent on and off the pitch we can only say it's been a failure under Nelms by any measure.

In his time we've been top 6 twice - once when rangers, hearts and hibs not in top league and last season.

We've had 26 attempts at the two cups, and made the quarters just 7 times, no semi finals or finals reached.

Now it can be said we started from a low base but in 2014 he himself said we were ahead of the curve with Paul Hartley and promotion, then PH finished 6th and 8th so what's happened since? Failure after failure with some spectacular decisions along the way.

Off the pitch , spade in the ground next summer has been the mantra since February 2017, despite producing more "first look" artists impressions and fly by videos than we've had top 6 finishes - usually in conjunction with season ticket price releases.

Not clearly measurable but certainly a feeling is that fans are walking away and disillusioned. When Hartley brought us up we had over 10,000 Dundee fans at Dens, can you seriously imagine that today for any game? We don't even sell out our derby tickets at home.

Finally, Hartley still has the top two points totals we've had in that period in the top league and the current manager has only won 19 of his 71 top tier games. If you think Nelms is doing a good job just go have a look at the list of managers he's appointed after "extensive analysis", it's beyond comical.

Maybe, but I keep hearing that Campy was chosen as the preferred option for the council which is why we went for it.

Aaah. Did not know that.

to be fair only John Nelms has ever said it, and it depends on your level of trust whether you take that as gospel or not.

Too late now but how good would it have been to have a new stadium next to v&a.
Great location and would have been massive for regeneration of the city centre.
