Firmly expecting a shiny new stadium video this week...

A promotional video featuring Big Trev 👮‍♂️ (one for the older posters) proclaiming his support for the venture and the safety aspects of it.

I think I am right in saying that the Kingsway was always DC and it was ahead of its time as one of the first City bypasses in UK.Considerable foresight in city planning that is diametrically the opposite of what we see from TS and DCC here.

I grew up in Charleston in the 70s and section between Swallow Roundabout past the old Holo Krome factory was certainly not DC until the very late 70s.  I know this we often crossed the Kingsway at the Holo Krome to head to Camperdown Park.   The Kingsway was not DC then defo not.

Agreed in the 70s I travelled daily up the Kingsway to NCR Gourdie and in certain stretches there was an Overtaking Lane in between the Single Lanes

I remember him, Stewart Dickson and Ashley Harbottle (i think)  as well.

Don't remember the other two. We ran if we spotted Trev even if we were doing nothing wrong, he was ok but we never took any chances.

Allegedly they are submitting their own traffic plan, this needs watching.

The likely traffic impact of this development at any specific time is likely to be a lot less than that of a football match, and the hour before and after the game.

Transport Scotland will have no say on this development as it doesn’t have any access from the trunk road.

I suppose it isn't possible to try to cut out access via the Kingsway? If the JTC development does not have to consider this issue, is there no option to develop the stadium using a different point of access?
