its mischief making nothing else and before rushing to publish the non story ,they should have waited for the club to respond to their questions.

They'd be waiting a very, very long time.

A nothing article as others have said.

The real story is how is a football club with 4000-5000 fans is ever going to be able to pay the rent on such a stadium? The rental payments will need to be in the millions per year to enable Dark Blue Property Holdings to pay back their mortgage on the thing and then presumably try to make a profit on top. I don't see how the numbers can stack up and fear we will become locked in a long term rental agreement which becomes unsustainable.

I can see a press ban coming their way

Counterproductive imo, there's a old saying- keep your friends close.....and your enemies closer.

JN would do well to consider this when it comes to selling on our top young talent. The more people we've got touting their financial value the better.

Last weekend  must have been  horrible for some of the DCT staff . And Dundee councillors, for that matter.

Ach an early night after a the Christmas festivities would've done them nae harm.

It'll be something like a 100 year mortgage (on the stadium).

The bit that concerns me is from an article in the Aberdeen Press and Journal that was sent to me a few years ago by @scottg which quoted JN where he stated that DFC's financial commitment to the development would be to the tune of £40m, for 12,500 seats that's a hell of a lot of money imo.

My comment has clearly gone right over your head! 🤣

Let me simplify it... The Courier is talking about a loan from the Isle Of Man. I say that's irrelevant and instead, what The Courier should be asking is how the club will afford the rent on the new stadium.
