There are not many players who come to Dens and make the fans eat their own words, and Mo Sylla is one of them.

I did not rate him at all when he first joined us, and I honestly thought that we had wasted a transfer fee on him. I thought it would take something special to push Boateng out of that spot, but he did just that.

Since he has got a chance in the team, he has grabbed the bull by the horns and made it his spot.

What an influential player he has become for us! He runs over every blade of grass on the pitch, breaking up play and playing the simple pass. Today was just another example of him putting his body on the line for the team.

👍👏

Totally the opposite for me , as soon as I saw him I thought he was a cracker

Certainly made me eat my words I didn’t rate him either but what a player he is.

How many smacks on the head did he take today? He also has the knack of making innocuous challenges on him looking like fouls by hitting the deck and holding a body part, something not many Dundee players have been good at in recent years but we've been victims of plenty

He has won us countless fouls by doing this, he uses his head (No pun intended) when it comes to fooling the ref.

I wish more of our players would do the same.

Took a lot of heat off us generally in the last five or so minutes by being 'fouled'.

That last 'foul' in the dying minutes, he knew exactly how to play the ref and get the foul. That took some pressure off us.
