Odds For The Coming Season

SkyBet are the only bookies taking on a top 6 finish, here's the odds:

Aberdeen 1/50

Dundee United - 1/8

ICT - 1/8

Hearts - 1/6

St Johnstone - 1/4

Dundee - 9/2

Hamilton - 9/2

Motherwell - 9/2

Partick Thistle - 9/2

Kilmarnock - 9/1

Ross County - 9/1

If we take the bookies odds, we'll be fighting it out for that last top 6 spot again this season whilst the bookies reckon the 5 above us should be fairly safe in the top 6.

We also seem to be the 7th favourite to win the league, 5th favourite to get relegated and similar in other markets, the bookies have us down as finishing 7th.

Hearts 1/6 to finish top 6 and 9/2 for us!!? Really don't think they'll find it that easy first season back! St Johnstone 1/4 and ICT and Dabs 1/8!! No value there! Feel that St Johnstone and ICT may be due a bad season ie a couple places lower than previous seasons! Anyway, 9/2 is good value for us. I reckon we'll get there 😊

Hearts are being heavily backed to do well next season so the bookies shorten the odds to limit potential losses.

Ross County look good value at 9/1. They won 10 of their last 14. Looks like McIntyre is a decent manager at this level.

IT will struggle this year imo. Shinness will be near impossible to replace and Watkins is also offski. Could be a real struggle in the highlands this season.

Mcintyre is not a decent manager at all again imo. He did manage to create a superb siege mentality though very similar to Barry in our deefiant season. P

Best bets there are

United bottom 6      9/2

ICT      bottom 6      9/2

Can't believe United are such short odds. Taking their 2015 form into account I just can't see any reason why they're favourites to finish third/fourth.

agree with you to an extent. Unfortunately utd have been very consistent in league placing over the last 5 years so will start as stick ons for top 6 for a few years at least.
