Kind of agree. With the players we have signed I think we still look pretty workmanlike with not much creativity.

I've got to say with the exception of Hemmings and to an extent Loy, im not exactly jumping up and down with excitement with our signings. I do hope to be proved wrong and will as always support each player and give them a chance but we are relying on guys being able to make the step up to spfl football (and in one case to full time football) to improve the defence and from the midfield I still see a lack of width, real pace and height. I can't help feeling that we are going to be out muscled in games and will struggle at set peices. I trust in PH but whereas this time last year I was very optimistic about our chances and was happy with the majority of our signings I'm not feeling the same way this pre-season.

I just hate it that Dundee want a player Inverness dont - its hard for me to accept that esp a club the size o Inverness.

TBH it worrys me when we sign a player from another SPL club and i havent even heard off or my fitbaw knowledge is dwindling as getting older

He certainly caused us problems last season and I'm sure he scored a late winner for them at Dens.

Honestly cant mind of him mate but AGAIN ive honestly a bad memory plus might sound weird but i really dont pay attention much to opposition when watching Dee playing if ken what a mean.

Im nae great lover of Harkins but is he better ?

I still feel regardless of this boys ability we`re far too overloaded with central mid players.

Im 50/50 on next season as in i think we`ll either do brilliant with these players who will step up to the plate or its gonna fall flat on our puss - i think its yin of they either or`s

We've been down the road of signing proven SPFL players in the past with limited success,in fact at 1 point it almost cost us our club.

When Scottish clubs were successful in Europe many moons ago clubs would plunder the best talent from other clubs lower down the leagues and any cash changing hands was then  reinvested in Scottish football.

I see what people are saying about lack of width and I'd like to see a winger sign however with the type of forward we have I don't think Hartley sees this as a priority.

Obviously he'll be thinking that our full backs will provide width.

I think meggatt and mcpake will start at centre half initially.

Just reading PH thoughts - he lauds it as a major coup

He says we`ve been needing an attacking midfielder  - which i find strange (my opinions aside) he signed Ferry for that role and also has Harkins who can play that role.

Anyhow Good thing about Ross is that he`s young.
