I think Hughes' comments say it all... but when reading it...

He continued "his biggest complaint was wanting a regular game and I couldn't guarantee that"

...doesn't sound like they tried EVERYTHING... like, you know... what his biggest complaint was!

Any player with ambition would get tired of playing in front of such small crowds at Icey Tea. Especially when they are finishing third in the League, winning the Scottish Cup and qualifying for Europe!

Can't blame him for taking the opportunity to move to a far bigger club. Let's hope some of that Cup winning experience we have in the team can rub off.
