Loans The Way Forward

Just see one of those Dundee FB groups post up tonight's tele (Haven't got it myself) but basically, Paul Hartley plans on offloading many of our prospects such as Colquhoun et al and putting them out on loan as he wants them playing 'real' football in order to further their development before they make a permanent breakthrough here at Dens.

Here's the back page:

Definitely the way to go. These young lads won't learn anything on our bench and playing for the development squad!

100% agree with him.

Game time and developing away from the pressures of spl football is the way ahead.

I think the likes of allan, priest and colquhoun could benefit from games in division 2 and Andy black a league higher.

Cammy and carreiro maybe in the championship.

Cammy, Dylan and Calvin all look capable of performing in the Championship. Would be great to see them and CW all playing regular football at a decent level.
