No idea of the numbers, suppose if we gave two free with every adult, sales would look better

Surely no Tommy, FFS that's a helluva low number. If that's true it shows that people can only be pushed so far. I was fortunate enough to be in a position to get one but I probably wouldn't if the decision was solely down to me.

Ive reached that point. The combined price for student and adult, when we cant make every match, just made me decide its PATG. Im sure there are many others who psycologically could no longer make value + emotion = price.

Shame in many ways as the football was excellent last season.

Well that post says it all to me, people can only take so much. The Lech Poznan fans stood their ground but then maybe Poland doesn't have a set up where the vast majority of the finances are split between two teams and everyone else fights over the scraps. Dundee are probably torn between doing what's right for the fans and supporting a forward thinking and exciting manager. TD wants to push us on but maybe our fanbase can't support that.

We have more fans than probably motherwell,st johnstone and ross county. And if we are doing well killie as well,I have heard all my life we are a "sleeping giant". Yet to see any proof of that,other than the odd game.

Plenty guys in pubs and work places who spout off about what's best for the club,but never go. Been the same all my life.

We now have a very good team and manager,they deserve more support. I do agree though the season ticket prices this year are a disgrace.

Only 5 clubs in Scotland can muster over 10,000 season tickets every year, Rangers,Celtic,Hearts,Hibs,Aberdeen. The rest are miles away, but season tickets don't equate to actual crowds.

i know that clubs use season ticket sales to tell fans the more they buy the better the players they will sign.....now to me i've always thought that lower season ticket sales but getting crowds much larger than those sales would be a good thing as its cash coming in every home game rather than having already been spent

examples

club sells 5k season tickets but then gets crowds of 5.5k = not a lot of cash coming in

club sells 3k season tickets but then gets crowds of 5.5k = steady cash flow coming in every home game
