Who Should Take Credit For Hearts Fc Good Form ?

Recommended Posts

With Hearts FC more than holding its own in what was expected to be a very competitive division, should the credit be shared all round, between, Ann Budge, Scott Gardiner, (with whom she said she would be working closely with) Craig Levein, Robbie Neilson, and assistant coach Stevie Crawford, (I think) and of course all the other coaches ....... and not to forget the players that are doing the business on the park, is there any one in particular do you think, who should take most credit for Hearts FC change of fortunes ?

It is probably the kind of question Hearts Supporters could answer better than us ....... Och but so what .......... it's Sunday.

And we cannae let awe the experience and expertise on on oor forum go to waste !!

With Robbie Neilson and his assistant coach having direct contact with his players, I would guess, most credit should go to them. But I believe Craig Levein is heavily involved directly in what is happening on the park, and probably on a more general level, what kind of team represents the club on the park. And although as Scotland Manager, he was a bit of a disaster, at club level, he did prove his worth.

Maybe we should tread warily around Gardiner. But when Ann Budge said after appointing Scott Gardiner .............. "she would be working closely with him"           the phrase that popped into my head for some reason was .............. "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"

Any views Fellow DFC Posters ?

jUST TO PUT ANOTHER WEE TWIST ON TO THIS TOPIC ...............When Terry Butcher left IC to got to Hearts, does anyone think he would do the business down there ?

To be honest I thought highly of him as a manager (still do) but felt he should have stayed where he was, where he was generaly like, getting the results, and as an outdoor man (fishing and shooting, I believe) he was in a great location.

What happened for him at Hearts is now history ......but it appears his stle of management certainly did not suit the club or players. Any thoughts ?

In all honesty, I think DAB aside, Craig is one of the best managers in the last 15 years.

United are still thriving off his ideas and things he put in place.

Scotland should have made him the top man at SFA, not a manager but director of all youth and senior football.

He doesn't care about politics, he just gets things done right.

He buggered the Scotland job. Paid for it with his job. He is doing a great job at hearts.
