A poor first half manager and a good second half manager? During his tenure I've lost count of the number of times we have had very poor first halves and managed to get something out of the game when he made big changes in the second half. It seems like a trend.

I don’t think so. The biggest complaint last season was losing games from winning positions, which arguably suggests we start better than finish them. Hearts (twice), St Johnstone and Rangers last season were examples where we started really strongly and lost.

Motherwell at home too. As well as that we had 2 goal leads against St J and Motherwell and only ended up with a point.

Surely he's a good manager then because he sees what changes need made and he makes them?
