Hopefully we can get the defensive problems sorted out. Also I wouldn't play both Cameron and McCowan. We don't have another DM apart from Sylla but we need someone else with more defensive ability in there. Mulligan is strong driving forward but I don't feel he is strong defensively.

So if you only play 1 of Luke or Lyall and don’t fancy mulligan in there what’s the next move in current squad

Think we need someone new. If only Mulligan could develop his defensive side and his end product to go with the attacking talent.

I think it’s fair to say that you’ve been very much in favour of another DM for a while now and if I’m right, you also wanted Boateng and Sylla both playing last season. I was always in the ‘but who do you drop’ side of the argument, mainly because of our goal-shy front line last season; however, if Murray and Seb have got goals in them, maybe it’s time to start looking at the defensive side of things from the middle of the pitch this season. I’m pretty certain our early run of clean sheets and strong defence last season came before Doc started playing Cameron and McCowan together. Pretty sure it was Fin and Mulligan getting the starts early last season.

Yes I think our midfield baeldce is often out. It's ok having both Luke and Lyall playing against weaker sides with one DM in Sylla. However it's not enough against the better sides. We always lose the midfield battle. If our wing backs could add grit on the sides of midfield this would help but for me it's resilience just in front of the defence that's needed.

If we played our 3 CBs in a arrow head with the central CB advanced slightly this might help. Not sure.

We could coach the wing backs to be more defensive as they move into midfield and back. Sylla could turn into Roy Keane...:) Man U only needed 1 DM.

Or we get another DM in and drop Lyall from the side against the bigger teams.

Or we go 4 2 3 1 with more traditional full backs plus two DMs sitting in front of the defence. Room for both our creative players and Mulligan too in a 3 behind Murray...

I'd like to see a 4 2 3 1 in action. I think defence end attack would be more balanced.

And you are right. Finn played a few of the early games last season. Mulligan too. With Boeteng and McCowan. Home game against Hearts was pretty solid.

I assume you changed your browser? Which one did you change too? Just in case others have the same problem with the site in future.

Going to give a lot of people who use Mac devices some advice, don't use Safari, as it can cause issues with modern websites and newer technologies.
