Honestly don't care if we sign any more as long as McCowan is a Dundee player at 11pm tonight.

I don't care if we lose him for nothing. I haven't genuinely loved a Dundee team and manager as much as this one in a long long time and he is the heartbeat of it. I want another year of that feeling.

Would like at least some cover at left back but I agree. Keeping Luke is the most important business we could do today.

I might be in the minority but I'm cool with Luke leaving if he goes for 7 figures and we bring in 2 or 3 reinforcements.

We've lost good players in the past and survived with little of the fee being reinvested, we also didn't always have such a good manager overseeing things.

Agree , wouldn't be good to lose him,  but sat we got Fraser and couple others , and of course get a hefty fee to bank , I think we'd still be on course for an excellent season .

Agree, if we were a one man team I'd be concerned but we have quality all over the park (can't believe I'm saying that about Dundee).

Of course Luke would be a loss, he'd be a loss to any team, but if he goes it has to be with the best wishes of the majority of the fan base.

IIRC we lost GGH, Hemmings and Stewart all at the same time and here we are worrying about a player who 18 months ago nobody (me anyway) really cared about.

Far better players have come and gone. If Luke stays, I'll be delighted but if he decides to leave I'll wish him all the best then look to see who TD brings in to replace him.

IMO TD is more important to us than any player, if I'm right, he'll deal with losing Luke and likely replace him with another lad that will either be turned into a star and or make us some money.
