First time in a long time I have seen a Ref give a throw in to us for the St Midden player stealing a few yards.

To be fair if he'd stolen a few yards he'd have got away with it but he pushed the limits and it was probably another 5 yards after being told not to steal any more than the 10 he'd already stolen

All in all the standard of refs is on a decline imo . Thought yesterday there was no missed big decisions however Murray was grabbed , pushed at every opportunity and he gave nothing . One near the end of the game was a 2 hander straight through him - 100% foul but nowt

All in all a decent performance. He tried to clamp down on the visitors’ physicality early on and tried to let the game flow. This unfortunately led to the Tiffoney flare up where Tiff ended up being fouled twice - the second being a two man team effort! Generally speaking the fouled player ends up getting booked for reacting.

I wouldn’t have their job for the world.

That first foul was a two footed tackle that looked to me at the time like a straight red. Watched the highlights on Sportscene last night and although not as bad as it seemed at first was two footed and I still reckon a possible straight red. No wonder Scott Tiffoney lost it.
