Hearts chasing McInnes?

According to speculation.  If he knocks them back, will they come after Docherty? They are a calamity of a club, like their city rivals.

Docherty and Robinson have both been mentioned in the press but also the possibility of the Brighton owner's AI programme being used to target a manager (if his investment in Hearts progresses to his programme being used by Hearts).

And that’s it speculation.

I doubt very much if they will go for a current SPL manager.

Think they will aim a bit higher. There is some dosh there and they are currently still in Europe.

 Seems that McInnes isn't interested anyway, but yes, I agree.

Docherty, Robinson or McInnes would pretty much be the perfect fit for a Hibs or Hearts. The exact type of manager they need but for whatever reason, they're not deemed fashionable enough so they'd rather appoint someone like Naismith or Gray who have zero experience and end up flopping.

I'm happy with that but boggles my mind.

Appointing a local hero buys some time and sympathy when things inevitably go wrong.
