Dee Promotions Raffle

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd see if posters on here could give some help to Alison with the big Christmas Raffle for the youth development programme.

Have copied some of the info from her email, with her permission!

Hey guys, it’s that time of year again when I bother you all for a donation for my Christmas Raffle.

If you are in the position to donate something BIG or small it would be greatly appreciated, last year we made just under £8,000 for our Academy .You may or not be aware, running a youth development program is expensive. Whether it is cost of staff, transport to away games, cost of kit, tracksuits, pitch hire, balls, equipment, or physiotherapy it all adds up.

If you want to make a donation contact [email protected]

.

They'd make even more money if they didn't post out tickets to people who have no intention of buying them every year.

Think that's an interesting point. Hopefully this year there will be a better response.

I get sent the book every year and last year bought a book and won a very nice bottle of Dundee gin.Postage is expensive nowadays but even so i would be more likely to buy a traditional raffle ticket than go online which I suppose would be the alternative. No idea what that costs to set up

Could a delivery driver pop a book through the doors as he delivers. Would Deliveroo for example think this was something they would encourage?
