Firstly, hopefully he is ok.

However, I think 95% of Dees knew that going into the season with only one remotely defensive midfielder was a massive mistake. It would be very unlikely that he would be available for all games throughout the season. To not have an alternative for when he is injured, ill, or simply off form is really quite inept management.

Massive mistake from the manger to not bring in a replacement for  malachi , we are in deep doodah and are genuine relegation candidates.

Certainly not looking as strong as last year. I do agree that the lack of cover and strength in midfield has been a major shortcoming of the recruitment this season. That coupled with the five minutes to midnight sale of McCowan. That was so predictable.  And naive, in my opinion.

Agree with that at this point, but nothing short of crazy to get ourselves in this position. However, if Mo is out we are desperately lightweight with very few options. It didn't take ferking Nostradamus to see the potential issue.

You know for certain it was a mistake? You don't consider for one minute that maybe he tried to bring one in and couldn't get anyone of the standard he wanted?

We had all our targets identified and didn’t sign anyone so it’s a mistake

You do understand the difference between identifying targets and actually achieving them I assume?

I've set a target of winning millions on the lottery but so far nothing. Is that a mistake by me?

If we had targets (not doubting your word), then not bringing in one, knowing that they were prepared to sell McCowan, I would say was tantamount to a mistake. Either that or they should have been more proactive with Celtic.  As it stands, they have a decent sub and we have a  fairly severely weakened midfield and money in the bank.  I would have said that central midfield was as high a priority as a striker for us.

Not really a mistake if you can't get an agreement with one of those targets and a deal over the line is it?

I see your point, but we have ended up up weaker. And  nervous about losing Sylla.  Then sh!t happens.
