My favourite Dundee player in my lifetime. My old man took me to see the likes of Gilzean and Charlie Cooke, as his way of babysitting, but I probably was more interested in the seagulls. so Cabbie is the all time favourite. A truly brilliant watch.

What a player/guy he was. 

That initial spell pre injury was frightening. We went from a strike force of Falconer, Grady and Annand (no disrespect to them all very good players in their own right) to this absolute animal who the opposition couldn't get near and if they did they bounced off him. Pace, power, strength, skill and flair. It was genuinely amazing to watch these players come in and for me Caballero was the best of the lot. I just wonder what he could have achieved if that injury hadn't happend.

A guy who would never heard of Dundee before and was obviously attracted by the money but he took the club/fans to his heart as much as we all did with him and it's just really really sad that he has passed at such a young age. 

I doubt we will ever see someone as devastating as him playing up top for the dees again.
