Long time lurker on mad here.. Really like the look of this Dee's forum (excellent work) and thought I would sign up to chip my tuppence worth in.

Hello and Welcome Boba ....... I am no sae sure whit I am daeing on the welcoming team, as I've only been a member myself  for aroond twa weeks.

But I've been posting so much since arriving onThe Dark Forum, when I half jokingly remarked I should be on the welcoming team, it seems it was made official in a matter of minutes ..........I am no sure if it was a touch desperation or exploitation    (Anyway they have got me here whether they like it or not)

In truth is it  no just a fine friendly forum ? And it is great to see you have wasted no time in getting these posts in.          Keep them coming.

Like yourself I think oor club is moving into another era. It  might yet take a few years before I can see again the great days of the great times of the early 60's               (League Champions and that Great European Run) ............ But who is to know what is ahead ?

A Big Welcome to yourself DerryDrummer ....... it's good to see you setting in so quickly and get so quick off the mark on the posting front.

The Dark Blues seems to have got off the launch pad mighty quickly ....... and certainly more so over the past two weeks.

No going to start knocking doon mad, but the few basic rules and guidelines have maybe had a hand in attracting the new posters from other forums.

Always enjoyed your posts on mad ..... and very much looking forward to more of the same here.

Hello Derry ..... Respect man, I know what you mean.       Some o' my ain posts even pit me tae sleep      and that's as I am typing them !!

Coming up for 73yrs.       May not seem so (based on my posts) but the brains working away fine ....... the body is showing signs o' wear and tear .

(Edit to say) ..... I am no' sure if my response there above makes any sense ..... But whit I wis trying to say wis, some o' my longer posts dinnae aye make too much sense, as my brain goes off in another direction !!

Gedee- you are a perfect appointment in my book buddy and thanks for the welcome. A tough gig replying to all the converts from Mad but I have no doubt you'll get round them all!
