Just watched some of  todays Hearts v Everton friendly at Tynecastle on  stream.  Everton won by three goals to one and i have to say they totally strolled it.  They passed it well and their movement off the ball was excellent.

It will be a huge step up in quality of opposition we have faced so far this pre season, tough tough test for our team.

Who was playing for Everton? First team regulars or a second string eleven?

It was a very strong Everton team Boba, with a good few first team regulars   Hearts were missing a few but i very much doubt if it would have made much difference, huge gulf in quality between the teams, from Dundee s point of view it will be a very hard match on Tuesday.

Actually.. Just seen the team sheets from today's game.

We'll need to be fielding our strongest team to live with this lot me thinks..

I was very impressed with Everton,  quality all over the park, Hearts were run ragged at times, chasing the ball all over the pitch.

Yep, that's a lot of quality in the team and on the bench. Also don't think Hearts are as good as people seem to think. Their pre-season has been no great shakes.

No one knows really of course.

I doubt they'll field the same 11 on Tuesday but they will have enough players to put out a quality side capable of giving us a decent workout.

Looking forward to tonight's game

PH seems to be experimenting with players and team shapes readily during the pre season fixtures so I'm not sure if we'll se our strongest possible team out at one stage or not.

Hopefully we do, the season opener is now only days away and I still don't think we've seen our best team on the park together yet!

Would like to see Low getting a game alongside Thomson, Ross and Harkins.

Think we should be starting with the back four that we want to play against Killie as well.

My team from the start for tonight:

Bain

McGinn

Julen

McPake

Holt

Thomson

Low

Stewart

Harkins

Ross

Hemmings

C'mon the Dee!
