Trophy Season

Hartley is quoted in the Press today as targeting a trophy with his current squad.

The squad is certainly as good as some who have lifted silverware in the last few seasons.

Could this be the season we actually deliver something for our great supporters?

The league is a foregone conclusion, the cups are a lottery, we could get Celtic away in an early round, I'd be over the moon of course if we do, an unlucky draw could scupper us though.  :(

This

Forgotten how many times they've draw the Equivilent of the michy 2nd team.

Only fortunate run I can mind us having is under Kerno

Which was very fortunate and only papered over the cracks with his team.

Beating Stranraer, Airdrie, then almost f**king it up against Hamilton to reach Hampden.  Where we then did f**k it up.

Mind you, we should have also reached the semis in 2010. Ties against Livingston and Ayr negotiated, only to be dumped out at Dens by Raith. Kind of summed up a pretty disastrous season, Challenge Cup aside.

If we had beaten Gretna we would have qualified for Europe on the back of never beating a side above us. Amazing when you consider we were 7th in Div 1 that time.
