It looks good, but doesn't the current design just mean there will be a pile of bodies squashed against the railing rather than the wall? Doesn't stop the issue of crowd surging IMO.

Well at least it'll keep the belters off the pitch ..

And another myth is dispelled, tickets will be available for that section   :)

No be able to watch the end of the game from the side of the stairs anymore mind...

They could do with opening the other stairs now if you have to go in via the back rather than side.

Spot on. Under the old design not one supporter was injured only Stewards who were put in the firing line by our esteemed stadium manager.

I can see major issues with that structure.

The fans won't be able to get to stewards without leaping the barrier now... Surely that is a safety improvement.

Looks good but won't stop people surging forward. If they wanted to stop that they should have put backs on the seats.

The Derry is looking sexy as f**k again

I think having the side bit closed in right down to the front will help with the atmosphere :wiggle:  .

Nae cutting up to the stairs with 5 mins to go anymore..

Mmmmm? I sit at the front so still a bit concerned that I will have a railing in the way???

Hopefully not!!!

A positive thought though.....

Will the stewards allow flags etc to be tied to them as long as the view is not restricted???Could be quite cool.

Still hard to tell from the pics?

I think it looks not too bad to be honest. Hopefully the club allow banners and flags etc to be draped over the fence at the front.Surely that wont be a problem ?

Of course it is unless the supporters crush each other at the barrier, but that's ok I suppose?

The fans can stop that by acting responsibly

I don't think the surging will be a problem as there won't be a big area to run into now.
