Based on Yinnited yesterday, our only problem could be at set pieces and corners as they have some big guys in their side.

Apart from that I thought they had little to show in front of goal.

We've finally got some big guys in too, though ! :)

We are a different side this season, possession and controlled passing are the way forward. No disrespect to Jim Mac or even Paul McGowan but running about at 100 miles an hour wont see us progress.Get the ball down and pass the opposition into submission.

Just hope we have learned lessons from last season....the fruits will be right in our faces from the off...we didn't cope at all well with that last season.

As you say it's a different side this season though.

Eeeeek! DSC

Feeling fairly confident that we're going to have a very good season.

Only fixture I fear is the derby at the Dump going on recent history.

They are in freefall and look absolutely terrible.

We look like we have our best team in over a decade and everyone is raving about us so it all points towards a home win for me.

I honestly think that Utd will be like the Dee of many past Derbies.I think they will run about like dafties, flying into tackles whilewe  play our passing controlled stuff.I just hope we don't get drawn in because I think that'll be the way they want the game to go.They'll know that we have all the ball players.

Best I've ever seen us on a plastic pitch or is it one of these ones like Arsenal (I believe) that has a grass/plastic mix. Maybe our new style suited the surface. Looked completely different to Hamilton where you could see players were finding hard to play a normal game.

Do you think PH DFC should have installed a plastic pitch at Dens?

Reason i ask is we played that well on it , if its easier for us given our style maybe it would suit us better

I dont like / agree wi them BUT if its gonnaa be to our advantage then worth considering
